Clinical Research Nurse
My clinical background is in mental health nursing care for older people, more recently in the field of clinical research of memory and ageing, with a focus on commercially sponsored clinical trials in Alzheimer's disease. I have worked with the Oxford Vascular Study since June 2013. My work involves the follow-up and support of patients and their families at their 1 and 3 month follow-up clinic appointments for TIA and Minor Stroke.I also work with GP practices in the collection of clinical data related to pre-morbid patient profiles and sudden vascular deaths.
